Rear hatch latch
So I purchased a rear hatch latch for my 1989. Does anyone know where there are directions on how to remove it. The carriage bolts will fall out. Do I need to remove the bumper.?
I have the FSM. I could not find directions on how to remove and re install.

All you need to do is remove the rear trim panel and the rest will be self explanatory. It's held on with two bolts, and it will be one of the easiest jobs you'll ever do on your car.

It's just that all the simple jobs seem to have some subtle nuance that makes it take very long. With the Impala down. I only have one car i.e. the Corvette. And the most important rule I know, with respect to auto mobiles. Never start a job on a running car, that you need for work, on a Sunday.
