1992 misfire/02 problems
I have narrowed the misfire down to driver side but not sure what cylinder. I also did some trouble shooting and replaced parts and the misfire is still there.
Parts that have been replaced
Injectors
coil
spark plugs
plug wires
opti spark
O2 sensors
Fuel pump
Fuel pressure regulator
Filter/lines
Map sensor
IAC valve
Mechanical side of things.
Valves checked
Compression good
Leakdown check came out good
Valve springs intact as well
Most of the normal culprits that I've read about I already have checked out and replaced.
I have a tuner/scanner as well i did a few data logs and all the values and sensors are good besides the left 02 sensor the value wont move further than 450 as the right works properly swapped sensors and the left still wont read right. I cut the wire sensor side and spliced it into the pcm to eliminate any broken or grounded out wire and still wont read right.
I also narrowed down the problem to start a around 180* degrees and at idle as far as i know it doesn't happen at higher rpm or wot. (will not misfire when cold)
Codes that the car has are
28 (quad driver)
66 ac pressure transducer open or shorted (ac was deleted)
Also has injector bank 1/2 errors based of the data logger (doesn't throw code in car ) misfire occurred with original and new injectors(injectors are new Fuel injector connection bosh 3)
Based off what ive learned and gathered it has to do with the error and fault with the left bank 02 sensor. I also know the car wont read or go off sensors until it hits operation temps/ closed loop status. That is when the misfire starts soooooooo any help or advice based off what i gave would be greatly appreciated!!!
