Default 1996 LT4 - Procharged - tuning advice

Hello,

I am looking to startup for the first time a 96 LT4 Vette with a P600B supercharger. I upgraded the fuel system with fuel pumps and 60# injectors. The tune has been updated to align with the new injectors. Everything runs fine, and the ST and LT trims are practically zero.

I added water/meth for supercharger cooling.

Now I want to put a belt on the charger and hook the final items up and start to tune for the new supercharger.

Here is where I need advice. Where do I start? I know this has been done on previous cars, so I know it is possible.

Do I work the
MAF Sensor Calibration Table, do I lower the fuel flow and tinker with the Volumetric Efficiency Vs. RPM Vs. MAP (Ext.) table.

I am looking for advice, sample files. This is my current tune. https://github.com/lpfrnk/96vette/bl...6_lt4_mod3.txt

I have the Jet tuning software and ScanXL.

on speed density (which yours is not)
On a 1 bar MAP, you make the last VE column (far right) your boosted condition and add fuel(higher VE value) / decrease spark advance as rpm goes up.

you are assuming boost goes up as rpm goes up

use that column to achieve richer than 14.7:1 afr (which Is still too lean).

then use the PE fuel adder vs rpm and PE vs coolant temp to add enough fuel to target 12:1 afr (or whatever you want) under WOT

the PE fuel adder table will be paericularly useful to bring on more fuel with rpm (and boost since it follows rpm)

you will also need to do datalogs to take into account the meth/water system And how much fuel thhat adds.

Spark advance for me is like playing with a voodoo doll

i would guess you are gonna want somewhere between 19-23 degrees on 93 octane (also spraying meth/water) without triggerering your knock sensors under boost

of course i could be wrong bc the lt4 has higher compression And difft heads than mine (ar195 with 9.6:1 compression)

For Speed Density Mode:
Under SWITCHES: Calibration Options: you need to enable "speed Density Mode"
