going to share my porting job because I learn a lot from this forum . maybe this could help someone else in the future. this is a covid19 stuck at home porting job because renegade no longer available.
engine is stock for now
I welded at least 1/4" to the top of all the ports Then raised the roof of the port by 7/32" with die grinder, cleaned up sides a little .
increased the section area from 1.44 inches2 to 1.7784 inches2
used die grinder with 3" of straight on it and a 6" grinding bit was long enough to reach the entire port. formed a metal plate to protect the gasket surface.
gasket side of the port was enlarged to match the runner size.
except for a inch or so on the gasket side I left the floor untouched.
according to my calculations the runner section has peak torque around 3400 rpm.
took it for a short ride today. it ran past 5000 rpm like it was nothing, then I chickened out and let off the gas.
need to set fuel pressure.
seems like the conspiracy theory is true that Chevy de tuned the crossfire
I also ported the stock exhaust manifolds will flow enough for stock dart ss head and more them enough for stock head at any lift . at least from my calculations
to bad you got a bad renegade manifold. I tried to buy one but there not available anymore. I had an extra stock intake and time on my hands.it was a pita to do.

I had a renegade from 3 years ago. It does not work. Machining is so bad it vacuum leaks from the lifter Valley. Thats why @Buccaneer pulled the tooling. Mine also hits the hood because of the bad machining. You want mine you can have it lol.
sorry I didn't take pictures. basically all I did was raise the roof of the runners by welding and grinding the full length of the runners ,except at the gasket side where cut material from the floor. made the runner 7/32" taller.
runners are 1.56" tall and 1.14" wide now . stock was 1.31" x 1.1".I think dart ss heads with small cam can be added later and still use stock exhaust and TB's
I could have made the ports bigger , but then would have to get, bigger heads, camshaft, headers, bore TB's, external fuel regulator, programmable ecm, new dana 44 differential, bigger brakes ,bigger rims.
