Burnt Dash Harness
Good Morning, I had a Customer bring in a 88 Corvette, said it was running and then just shut off. Went to start it back up and nothing. lights came on and everything but no start, no dash lights. Long story short found what looked like wires from dash harness melted. Pulled the dash to further look into the problem. Found B2 (Starter and Charging) and G1 (multi port fuel injection) wires completely burnt from fuse panel to the harness bulk head connector. About to dig further into the engine harness but doesn't look to be and burnt wires that i see, and looking at it seem the G1 Pink wire could be what started it. Has anyone ran into a problem as this, just seems odd.
