HI, I have a 91 L98 coupe. Fuel injection with tuned port induction. I have bought a new ECM, distributor, fuel pump, had MEMCAL reprogrammed, and still no start. The car will start with starting fluid and run for a couple of seconds. Have FSM and did a lot of tests. checking ECM voltage to ECM is all good. 12 volts to the distributor is good. checked all the grounds and cleaned them. I am getting code 41. I am not sure if my ECM is a faulty or serial line for ECM to BCM to EBS is not communicating, Could the MEMCAL or ECM be bad. I have bought 2 ECM to try to check. I checked fuel pump with the test lead and the pump psi is 42. I have been trying for some time with this. I live in Monroe NC and wanted to see if anyone can help me.
Sounds like you have ignition so I suggest checking the ignition fuses 1 and 2 that power the injectors. Perhaps disconnect the throttle position sensor and try to start. If the computer sees high voltage from the TPS it will stop the injectors because of its clear flood mode.
Also check the ground wires at the back of the drivers side cylinder head. G104

This is your problem! Engine will never start with no fuel. If I recall correctly the injectors are hot all the time and the ECM grounds the injectors and
all injectors on that bank fire. They make a little device called a Noid that checks the injectors. That's all I know about injectors. If you have a factory
service manual you should be able to find all the information you need. Or search the internet with Google.
Then test for power, key on, engine off, at each/any of the injector plugs. If you have power there, then you know that the ECM isn't grounding them or has a bad ground.
