Never knew there were factory TOW HOOKs on the C4 Does anyone have clear, close photos of their location?
They are not tow hooks like you would need to get pulled out of the gravel trap if you overcooked it going into turn 5, think more along the lines of factory tie down points. I cannot remember a car I have worked on built since the 60s that has not had some kind of T hook fitting from the factory. I do not remember exactly where they are on the C4, but next time I have mine up on the lift I will try and remember to take some pictures.
Here is what i do..... I have to cross the straps.

How can the guy with the trailer above use the frame tie downs unless he adds rings directly in front and to the rear of the frame tie points?

Partsgarage is right; not HOOKS, but "Hook receivers". They're right behind the lower control arm in the front (see that oval hole in that ear that's protruding down, just to the left of the rear LCA bolt head in this pic?:
....and right behind the bottom of the trailing arm brackets in the rear -see the same oval hole just above the lower trailing arm:

I have a enclosed trailer and I bought 2-2”x10”x8’ boards to give more clearance for my Corvette when loading and unloading. You don’t want to damage your trailer or car because it drags the bottom of your car when you’re loading or unloading. Please post pictures of your car after you get it. Kevin
""Any of you guys advocating the use of the factory frame tie-points tell me this: In the pics above (they are both the same trailer, different cars),How do you get the strap from the frame tie point to the ring on the trailer? The question is so off base, he's either never towed his car or is a troll. I've used those frame eyelets at the front and rear for 12 years on open and enclosed trailers.
