Anybody have a problem with a spark plug boot being stuck to the plug? Any tricks to free it? I tried to rotate the boot but no dice. I have MSD's boots and I used dielectric grease when I installed them, but they still won't let loose. Thanks for any advice before I just destroy the wire and boot.
I had a hell of a time trying to get the plug wire off of the plug on cylinder 8. I spent a good deal of time trying everything I could think of by hand before realizing that hey, I'm replacing the wire and plug anyway, so screw it. Grabbed a pair of vicegrips, clamped the plug boot, and gave it a good yank. Popped off first try. No hard feelings since nothing was being reused anyway.

I would try rotating it round and around and then pull. If it breaks, hopefully the boot is intact and you can redo the connection with a new plug connector.
Well, after a lot of working on it, I bought a tool that made it possible. Looks like long nose pliers but has kind of a loop on the end of it. End of problem. Thanks guys
