While driving my C4 yesterday the LCD digital display quit working; no speedometer, odometer or fuel gauge. It doesn’t appear to be a fuse and the LCD display continues to be illuminated when the key is on and operates properly when the dimmer is activated. I reviewed previous blogs on LCD intermittent display issues in the C4, but I could not find anything relative to the LCD completely going out. Does anyone have any insight on diagnoses and next steps?
Thanks so much for the info. It was certainly informative. Not sure if I have skills tho to accomplish the repair without damaging the lcd. I will try to collect more info before move forward. Again, thanks!

The same folks that made the video (BATEE.COM) also have a repair service, so if you've got the skill to pull out the instrument cluster, you can ship it to them for repair and return.
Mine would do exactly what you are seeing. A sharp smack to the dash directly above the display would temporarily return its function. I replaced mine with a rebuilt display.
FYI doing so will not change your odometer reading.

This. While sending the cluster to BATEE for repairs is certainly an option, replacing the cluster with another is an option too. The odometer reading is stored in your Corvette's Central Control Module, a totally separate computer from the dash.
I literally have my dash cluster out right now for dim and intermittent readout issues. I ordered the Batee connector and the LCD film kits. Removing the cluster was pretty easy, just follow the removal video he has. Then, following the repair video, I soldered the connector in place last night. I am not much at soldering but I believe I got it ok. I checked each wire in the connector against the next one with a meter for continuity to be sure I did not create a BRIDGE between the solder joints. Today I will repair the LCD with the film kit. It is $80 and the satisfaction of doing it yourself vs $299 for Batee to do it. So if you are willing to take a shot at the soldering you should be able to get it done.
To be clear, I checked them with a meter for the absence of continuity.
