I'm sure this has been asked before but did not find it on a search. Do any of you guys recommend a particular cold air intake for a 95 C4? I have looked at a few online and not sure which way to go. I was looking at this one below:
There is no power to be made from an air intake on these cars. You're better off refreshing the suspension, as in replace all the worn out bushings, far better bang for your buck, and a change you can actually notice.
The second one you linked to, all that will do is get your filter dirtier faster than the factory intake, and the factory one gets dirty fast enough as it is, haha!

Yes there is. I can think of 339.99 things that are wrong with that kind of "style/flash". Actually, 340.00; the one extra reason is that I don't think it looks good.
For that money, OP could buy a cam that would make an actual difference.
I've pretty much never seen an intake improve performance on a stock anything. I've seen pulls where 15 hp was added... occasionally you see the thing had 38k miles on it and the factory filter that's plugged and the "enhanced" air flow of the new intake "improves" power. And putting in a paper one will do the same thing. The best is all the guys with MAF cars saying they saw power increases with so and so intake and in reality it's the air flow change at the maf altering the fueling curve (car going lean in PE on a dyno. Sure it makes more power but the table is now all effed up)
Sorry for the rant. You couldn't feel even the best HP increase claimed by some intake. All things considered engineers do their job damn well. On something making 500 hp then yeah... every few you can pick up counts. The only thing you'll notice with that is your wallet being lighter.

Do you even think it does even change anything? People see, or more accurately, feel increases because they are looking to feel something and the filter provides the vehicle. I deliberately ignore what the butt dyno feels because at best, it is wrong and at worst, unreliable.
Hey, I have one of those that is shown in the link you provided, I sent you a PM and if you want it I am not going to use it. I wnet a diffrent route to achieve a true ram air and it works really well. I also have a nice hood that I may never use that has a scoop molded in like the one COPO did that i saw on this Forum. That hood is black and has a removeable faux grill to make it fully functional .Gary
