Default Emissions pump controller ??

I am removing all of the smog stuff of of my 1988 L98. What do I do with the two connectors that plug into the Emissions pump controller part # 17088106 ?? When I bought the car the two fronts cats had already been removed, the main one is still on the car. It runs great. While I am removing all of this, I am going to go ahead and put a new water pump on it. I am going with a Flowkooler pump. Also, I have a very small coolant leak, that I am looking for. it might be coming from somewhere in the hoses that are connected in the oil cooler. Mainly wanting to know what to do the the emissions controller connections.

Since there is no electrical feedback from those two connectors you can simply tuck them out of sight.

You might pick a UV dye kit to help trace that small H2O leak.

Leave them wrapped and tied so they don't flop around. I think I used one of them for my heated O2.

Thanks guys, that's what I am going to do. I finished the operation late yesterday. I removed all of the smog stuff, eliminated my heater hoses and in that process did away with the lines going to the "oil cooler". The core wasn't leaking, but I wanted to eliminate any hoses toward the front of the motor as a potential source for the leak. I capped the heater core in/out lines, as well as the in/out to the throttle body. I put a Flowkooler water pump on and used the Mercuryspinning kit to replace the air pump. Got it fired up last night and am in the process of getting all of the air out of the system. I can add hoses for the heater later, just want to see if I got the small leak I had.

You want to eliminate the car so you remove the potential source of being stranded when it breaks down too? Seriously, I'd change the hoses if I am unsure of the quality and be done with that.

All of the hoses, except for the radiator hoses, were all original to the car. Pressured the system up twice so far, and no leaks.

I'd change all hoses of a used car.
