Default Throttle position sensor buffer?

What is it and what does it do? Does it have anything to do with regulating voltage from or to the tps to ecm? This part is on a 94 vette lt1 and I believe a couple of other years. The part is located right next to the blower motor on the firewall. The interwebs has little to say about it. How about you all?

Thanks..

It's the TPS module that feeds TPS data to the ABS/ASR computer.

Thanks a bunch man. This should help me more with troubleshooting my problem. The tps voltage fluctuation, (between.67 and .74), directly correlates with the throttle position %. As soon as it jumps above .69 or so the percentage goes up above 0. It actually didnt do it for a scan I did and then it did again the next time. It was rock solid for that scan and it idled correctly.
