Default 383 stroker cylinder machining

Just finished clearancing my block for my 383 stroker and I was about to assemble everything to double check that I took enough material off and got to thinking that someone told me if the piston skirts go below the bottom of the cylinder wall you need to put them at an angle or else it will tear the piston skirt up. My piston skirts at BDC sit like barely 1/8 below the bottom of the cylinder wall so is it true I need to angle the cylinder wall or no? I can’t remember who told me this or maybe I even saw it online I honestly can’t remember but if true then what kinda angle should I put them at and what’s the best tool to do it with? Thanks in advance for the help.

No need to, the rotating assembly is usually matched so the crank doesn't hit the piston skirts.

Make sure you really get into all the oil holes lifter areas in the block, the grit gets everywhere.
scrub the cylinders thoroughly etc before assembling. Check the clearance with camshaft installed some rods can contact the cam.
However I had no clearance issues to cam with my H beam rods.

Double check the block fill with water to ensure no leaks from the water jacket areas, use a dry paper towel to rub over the areas that were clearanced.

Water jacket shift can happen, can be welded easilly / some prefer grout in the lower part of block.

Enjoy the assembly, plastigauge makes bearing clearance checking easy.

And when you are done washing everything, wipe down everything with some lint free towels soaked in WD-40 or similar product, this will lift any light surface rust and prevent any new spots from forming. Then blow everything off/out with compressed air👍
