Default Crossfire =Vortec EFI

I've seen past posts on here and also in the C3 section about the crossfire intakes for this n that. BUT has anyone ever noticed that if you take the plastic top off a OEM vortec intake that the base looks very much like a crossfire?

Has anyone retro fitted vortec heads and OEM EFI intake to their Crossfire C4?

Nothing I really plant to mess with myself, unless I find a crossfire vette for dirt(seen plenty cheap) just thought it may make an interesting discussion for some. I bought a vortec truck and awhile back when I pulled the intake apart to toss the alum base on my scrap pile I noticed that the intake looked like a crossfire base.

The vortec lid is raised. The marine version of the intake is a beast I'm told.

The problem is the same as it would be w/a stock CFI intake and MPFI; getting the fuel inside the plenum w/o vacuum leaks. The marine version that '84 is talking about is the solution, b/c it's basically the same intake but w/the injector bungs moved to the outside of the plenum.
