1992 security system issues
1992 base. on start or shortly after, anything non analog on the gauge cluster stops working, asr goes on the thing where the check engine is, security light flashes and retards the engine at 3500 rpm. I've been reading and if the vats was not right it wouldn't start but it starts every time. Anyone know what's going on here?

so heres some ****, I disconnected the battery and it ran fine for a few and THEN I manually downshifted into second and the instant second grabbed it went off. I neglected to mention that the ASR light goes off when this stuff happens also. Is ir possible that my entire asr module is bad?
