Best coolant for '96 vette?
I recently purchased a 1996 c4 it currently has orange dex cool in it that looks very very muddy and old I definitely need to flush it but I know there are mixed opinions on DEX what do you guys think the best coolant it put in would be? I was thinking about flushing it out super super thoroughly and putting green in but I was also considering a universal

I went with Dex on my '96, there is nothing wrong with the modern formula. Mine was muddy looking as well.
Be sure to drain the block, there is quite a bit in there! I just bought new knock sensors, since they have to come out anyways, and they're not expensive. The passenger side was easy, the driver side was a pain. It's close enough to the starter that you have to be careful not to touch it with a wrench, or just disconnect the battery. That sucker was in crazy tight too, I thought for sure the threads were about to strip. Whoever installed it at the factory must've really come down on the wrench hard, haha!
