C4 hatch won’t release
Experiencing similar issue to others I’ve read about. Hit the release button and hear a faint click from the relay but no release at the latch. Tried the “15 cent fix”, didn’t work. Bought a used solenoid, didn’t work. Sent it back and bought another, still nothing. Hoping someone found the same and has a solution for me! 1994 coupe.

This is a 2 person (being PC here) job. You need one guy pushing the button and the other guy at the solenoid end seeing if there is power. If not, there is nothing that will happen, EVER.

How will the person at the solenoid know there is power? Please excuse my ignorance to the process.
