Default Remote/bump start switch hookup

My starter ('88-'91 denso mini-starter) is completely inaccessible for hooking up a remote starter switch. Between headers and a road race oil pan, there's less than a half inch clearance around the terminals. Can't even get my fingers in there enough to squeeze the alligator clips on a remote start switch, and I worry about a short to ground. Anyone know of an easier/more convenient place to hook up the switch? Can the B+ side can go right on the battery? And, can the S-terminal (purple wire) be picked up at the cold start injector fuse or clutch safety switch? The purple wire is smaller at the CS injector fuse but is full-sized all the way to the clutch safety switch. I happen to have decent access to that connector right now.

Answered my own question - hooking the start switch to + on the battery and the purple wire on the clutch safety switch works like a champ. Sure beats crawling around under the car!

I put a small 4 mm "banana jack" near the brake booster.

Same purple wire after starter interrupt relay. ( Mine is an 1984 )

( I see two risks. If ignition is on it might start and it will crank in gear also. That is the reson that I did not want to install a permanent button. )
