1994 opti spark trouble....
I own two C4’s. A 94 and a 95. The 94 is a 6 speed manual and has 60,000 miles on the car. The 94 is my take out and get on it car. 95 is a date night car. Anyway, my 94 has had two instances in the last month ( only times I drove the car ) where it started bucking. The engine was having a hard time getting to a higher RPM. The codes finally set and they were 36 and 42 if I remember right. It’s been a couple of weeks since I had it out. When the codes set, it smoothed out enough to drive home with no trouble. I have asked a member here and it sounds like an opti spark issue. If I were to buy a new opti spark, what brand would you guys recommend? I would like to order it ASAP so I can get it out for the good weather that’s coming our way. Thanks in advance fellas. Have a great day.
