Default Oh oh

The tech that was working on my car accidently dropped a small drill bit into the hole that feeds my oil pressure switch. It is located beside the distributor at the rear of the motor. The switch was being replaced. However it happened it is in there. Does anyone think that the bit may have fallen down clear to the oil pan? If not, how will HE get it out? Definitely not my problem at this point. I have no idea if leaving it there risks damaging the motor. I'm supposing it does.

You dodged a bullet....
A few years ago one of my techs did the same thing but it was a small bolt from distributor....He freaked out as I did. After trying a few things I said screw it, fire it up and put a magnet in a rag over the hole. Engine started and piece flew into the rag and magnet.. i played the lottery that evening....
Glad yours is ok!
