I removed the Air Filter housing on my LT1 and found cracks at the holes where the knobbed screws, attached the air filter housing to the air flow housing. Obviously air is entering the intake without first flowing through the air filter. So I have a dilemma.
Do I purchase a used, refurbed or new air flow housing? Or is there an aftermarket air flow housing that would replace the old housing. It would be something similar to a mushroom head filter or the like. What have others done in this case?
