86 no crank issues

86 no crank issues

So I have had the starter and keys changed out and it is still not working. Any ideas on what this might be. The only things that have been done to it since I got it was a new fuel pump and and oil change.

Did you get the appropriate key? 86 had VATS systems that read the resistance of the key. Won’t start if resistance isn’t right

Why did you change out the key?? and did you change the starter to just throw part at it??

OK, when you try to start it, does the security lamp flash?

When it did come on before it died it went very slow. I got the battery charged and no luck

yes but intermediate starting and now able to start.
