It shouldn't be too hard to remove the old bushings, all of mine came out fairly easily. I only needed the big press on the bigger bushings for fitment purposes, not because I needed the extra pressure. It was definitely used on the front control arms.
That was a joke about the fun part, I found the job to be a bit of a pain at times. There were definitely a couple of new bushings that didn't want to go into their new homes that I had to throw a lot of curse words at... Luckily beer was there to console me and calm me down lol
Haha about the joke....I always try to look at these projects as fun times....lol...otherwise I would start doing this.......lol.....right now my biggest concern is getting the end nuts off of the upper control arms.....my electric impact...although strong...is not strong enough to move them ....need to either go out to my friends garage or find someone local with an air impact....my small air compressors would not be strong enough for them....

use heat to help melt the thread locker.
I would be careful with a impact as they are aluminum threads tighten to about45 ft lbs.
Have Fun

Went to the local tire store and got the nuts removed from the uppers... saved me a lot of aggravation....as I don't have the strength anymore... plus the air wrench did not do the job completely as he also used a breaker bar in-between the air wrench and finally got them done...took all about 15 minutes... In the second pic you can see the marks from the vise....even though that part is not totally visible when installed....what type of sanding would you do to eliminate some of those marks???

Suprised they were that tight... mine busted right off with an electric with no heat...
For the marring... I'd probably just hit it with a wire wheel perhaps?

My electric would not budge them....they had the red loctite on them from the factory....I peeled some off inside one of the nuts today....will have to go through them all....and will reinstall with blue loctite instead of the red.....have had some good suggestions for the marring.....will try them out and see what works the best.....
Hi
I'm thinking about buying a set of Super Pros for my 95 Coupe. Are you happy with the purchase? Is it worth paying extra for Super Pros? I have the opportunity to buy a "regular" set of polyurethane bushings at a good price and I'm struggling with my thoughts
The price of Super Pros with shipping to Europe is a bit high and I don't want my wife to throw me out of the house
Best regards.
