check engine light
Hi guys
Ihave 1984 crossfire with the odometer not working when i drive over oprox 50 mph the engine light comes on and engine is fine .i have had it checked with diagnostic which stated that to be the problem. has anyone had this problem cant get odometer to work how can i stop engine light from coming on If i turn engine of the light will go of until i reach faster speed again thanks

If the speedo doesn't work.....There's a vehicle speed senor in the tail shaft of the tranny. Either it's a connection problem or the sensor itself. If you have a scope, you can view the wave it puts out, If the odometer is the only thing not working, it could be a cluster issue.
