ecm replacement

hello, I have just replaced the ecm in my 85 corvette, disconnected the battery and everything, I went to start it it cranked over on the first 2 tries then it completely stopped even turning over. any ideas? battery is fully charged the connections are good.

I tried to run a diagnostic but all it showed was a code 12

You say you replaced the ecm, why? Did the car run prior to the ecm replacement?

yes it did for a little bit but very rough, then I let it sit for a week or two and then it'd turn over but wouldn't start. I had already had it checked out by a dealer and they said the ecm wasn't sending a code 12 at all and that I needed a new ecm. so I got a reman. one.

Are you sure your battery cable connections are good? Since it started before you disconnected it.

Did you check the ECM connections? Maybe one was not fully locked into place.

Also, do you hear the fuel pump or have any dash lights when the key to turned to On?
