Helping a friend replace the ruby top on my old 93. Are there any good video's available to help us remove old and install new one. Old one works fine but back window damaged and color badly faded so he wants to install new. Should we take new one out of box and stretch it or put in the sun to make it easier to install? Thanks for any help

1.) Whose top did you buy?
2.) I've known a couple who have attempted top replacements of 'quality' tops and all but one said to do it again it would be a 'for hire'. If you've quality shops in the area I believe a conversation before even attempting. If for any reason you're unhappy with your work THEN it gets EXPENSIVE! The 'one' guy paid to get his 'tweaked' and I think watched!
Ecklerd has convertible top install dvd. It’s on sale also. I had my 92 done by a local Upholestry shop. I paid $900 for labor. You will need new weather stripping also. You may need a new headliner. Kevin
Most everything appears in good shape other than the back window coming apart and color fading. Car only has 45k on it and was Perry Kincy's for many years. So spent most of its time down in Calif and Az. New owner bought a black top from Cali and its still in the box. Should we stretch it out in the sun for a bit before trying to install it? Thanks
