Does anyone make a spherical bearing "kit" for C4 front control arms? I know of a number of suppliers for the C5 and C6 suspension parts, but I can't seem to locate anyone that makes them for the C4s.
I'm grafting the front and rear suspension from a 1986 C4 onto my 1979 C3 and I DO NOT want to run rubber or poly control arm bushings. If I have to, I could make due with delrin but I would prefer spherical bearings.
There's no need for spherical bearings on the front control arms. They only move around a single axis, and a spherical bearing is specifically made to allow movement around multiple axes. Even custom racing control arms still come with single-axis bushings.
Old thread almost same Question. So, no need for Spherical Bearings but what about Needle Bearings? I used them 40 years ago in my C3, C5 and newer they are available. How did the C4 get skipped ?

I haven't seen any. Needle bearings might be reasonable. But honestly, just get the Global West Del A Lum kit and be done with it. That address every possible concern while still being reasonably priced.
