Seriously though, looking at an LT1 SS that has a TNT sticker on the rear, so I assume it was on juice at some point. Less than 50K on the clock. The car looks very well taken care of and has all the quality F-body suspension mods. If a nitrous kit was set up properly, is there anything reason to think the engine internals would be next to worn out?
With only 50K, and as long as everything has been set up properly there would be no reason to be concerned. A compression and leak down test should tell if there was any damage to rings etc.
Me i would not buy that car if there was nitrous on it... to say that he was good to the car, nitrous is never eazy on the internals....but that is my .02 cents? good luck
If you can talk to the owner and see how it was set up you would be better off. I would be more comfortable if it was still on the car. That way you could see how it is set up and if it works. Nothing wrong with it if it is installed properly and not running big HP shots. If you are unable to do that I would keep looking. Clean does not mean much if the nitrous was abusing the engine.
Other than that when you find another clean one - put it on the bottle. :seeya
