92 C4 Door Handle Locks
Hi,
It's been a couple years since visiting.
I'm trying to remove a stuck LH door key from my 92 LT1?
Been tuck 10 years!
They sell these as aftermarket sets (handles, locks, keys and assoc. hardware) disassembled.
How do theses come apart (see attached photo)?
I do not want to change all the locks?

See this thread and if you need further help do it using the snapshots and Tom's experience. Cylinder kit, tumbler pins/springs. retainer etc. should all be a 'local' buying experience if needed. You'll need handle removed and 'in hand' to move forward I believe.

All I want is how to release the keyed-lock cylinder from the door handle?
I want to end up with the component pieces like shown in the picture?
Is there a release pin to depress with a pick/small screwdriver?

If you gots a 'stuck key' and buying that package you've overspent!! Snapshot in that other thread post #8 shows the 'wavy retainer'!
I wouldn't have sent you there if there wasn't good info for you! Pretend you ain't seen it maybe!

There are wavy 'W' shaped retainers present in your snapshot!
If you gots a 'stuck key' and buying that package you've overspent!! Snapshot in that other thread post #8 shows the 'wavy retainer'!

I'm with you want trying to reuse old parts if possible?
Haven't made any purchases!
Want to separate the keyed cylinder 1st!
Will review the ref post and identify/discern the wavy "W" shaped retainers?
So How do you remove the Wave Retainer?
Depress or Pry/Pull-Out???
Getting majorly frustrated!!!

Does anybody know an "Old School" locksmith ln the Greensboro, NC area that could help me out with some "Wavy Retainers" for my 92 C4 door handles?
