I was playing with the driver seat adjustment last week, I went all the way back until it stopped and once I did that it wouldn't go forward. When I push the switch forward, it feels like the switch doesn't want to slide in? If I push the switch back, it slides in normally and the seat wants to move (but obviously can't because it's all the way back now). Tilt settings work normally. I had the bottom of the seat off and seen there is a motor, harness, and track system but I didn't want to tear into anything yet.

Any ideas? Switch? Motor?
My car is a 1992 C4 Corvette.
Sounds like the seat switch has failed . Check the right side switch and compare it's physical operation to the driver side . If possible swap sides of the switches to see if indeed the switch is bad .

I don't think the passenger side seat has a switch, just driver side seat is power. If that's what you're referring to. I'm new to this car I just got it lol still figuring stuff out on it.
I did want to add that the switch was hot. Definitely warm to the touch around the base. So I will start with finding a switch replacement and go from there.
