Re: Help needed indentifying snapped vacuum line (chucks88)
Yes, it would of had a similar end on it as the one for the EGR does. That one controls your HVAC doors and cruise control. W/O fixing that line your HVAC won't be able to redirect the air from the dashboard and you will have no CC.
While I'm looking at that distributor picture...... when you install the SR you might want to look at where your #1 plug is now and when you reinstall twist the cap one position counterclockwise and remember to move the plug wires all over one position counterclockwise too. Otherwise that part where the plugs go into the cap will hit the SR plenum and make it a bitch to try and set timing. :)
Re: Help needed indentifying snapped vacuum line (chucks88)
I messed that tip up. Basically you move the cap one screw position counterclockwise (since it only has 4) and you make sure the plug wires stay in the same physical location in comparison to the rotor, but they'll be on a new terminal on the cap.

Brian,
That makes a little bit more sense. The distributor goes in as it came out, the cap I rotate 90 degrees CC, plugs end up off two post from the original cap yet still in the same location
