C4 no keys...lost

Default C4 no keys...lost
C4 1997 no keys...keys lost by grandson who did oil change for me. will the lock from my 1989 C4 work to start the 1987 and if so what procedures best to do the swap? HELP! Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Call a dealer they may be able to make one from the Vin number! Even if you have a key you have to have the right resistor for the Vats!

I took my lock out, took it to a locksmith and he cut a new key for me.
Just had to work out the resister value.

Lost keys by the grandson huh? Keep your insurance up to date or change out the cyl all together
x2 on locksmith they can come out and know what to do.
