C4 Starting issues
94 A4 69,000 miles has been sitting awhile but typically started once every 6 to 8 weeks has failed to light up now. Engine turns over swiftly as battery has had a battery tender attached. Added some fresh premium fuel, pulled the air cleaner off the throttle body and gave it a spray of starting fluid resulting in a brief effort at turning over but then quickly dies. I suspect a possible fuel filter issue, possibly a fuel pump, but am looking for next steps to get my baby back on the road now that Las Vegas weather has cooled. Any ideas would be appreciated.

get a fuel pressure tester. verify you have fuel pressure. if you have fuel pressure then check injectors firing. Either from listening to them click click / tap tap tap while cranking or with noid light tester.
