According to insider's hints from TPIS, the miniram is 2.5" lower than the stock intake, and moves the Throttle body 1.5" to the rear. How does this effect the hookup of the coupler from the MAF? Do I need another one(where do I get it?)or will the factory one stretch? One more thing, what intake gaskets are you using?

I used the AO Engineering Forced Air intake with my MR. It appears that the bellow is stretched alittle, but not an issue.
IMO, the Felpro intake gaskets that TPIS sends or recommends with the MR is too small. I used the next bigger size...1205(I think)..but not sure its been 4.5 yrs now.
I also installed a MR on a friends car as well. I recommended he buy the bigger gaskets, but he went w/ the one TPIS sent. I spent 1hr gasket matching to the heads.:mad My intake was not are MRII, but his was.
Good luck
I installed a miniram about two months ago. i have the vortex ram air installed prior and there was no problems when put back together. The boot streched a little, but other than that no problems. as far as the gaskets, tpis sent me the 1205 and that was not an issue.
I was fortunate enough to make Beach Bums best combo list. You can check out his website for a picture of my wheels up launch and a profile. Can send it to you, if you have problems locating it.
I have a stock bottom end 350cu. motor. I have the 113 D-port heads that were reworked by TPIS. I run the ho-hum ZZ-9 cam w/the stock ECM and level V prom.
