Are you referring to the Weatherstripping that is around the door opening? It is not too hard to replace and is a simple one day project. You remove the old, clean the surface and glue the new in place. Be careful to use the good contact cement like that used in the beginning.
There are Two different grades of weatherstripping and they have different prices. I checked on ZIP products and they have both types. One is the plain stuff and it cost $59.99 for the regular ordinary stuff and $179.99 for the Latex. That is a BIG difference but the Latex is a more durable replacement.
I did my C3 about fifteen years ago (with the less expensive) and my weatherstripping is coming apart again. I might try the Latex next time. The trick is to buy all the weatherstripping you need at one purchase so you get a better deal. I have a hard-top for my C3 so I will buy a kit that includes as much as possible to save more money. If you buy them one at a time you will pay way too much by the time you are done.
