Engine Randomly Died + Code 32
I started up my 91 and went to back out, and right as I started to move the engine died and the SES light came on. I then started it back up to pull back into the garage, and was able to do so with no problems or SES light. A few hours later I was able to drive it around the neighborhood with no problems or SES light. I pulled the codes and got H32, which I believe is the EGR system. However, the previous owner installed EGR block off plates, so I am confused. Any thoughts on what could've caused the engine to die and the SES light? Thanks!

Code 32 will not cause the engine to die. The ECM can't even call the EGR to function unless you're at certain conditions that generally occur only when cruising on the interstate.
I'd be checking fuel and spark. Does it attempt to catch when you turn the ignition or not? What is the FP reading?
