Take a look at all the wires by the coil and Ignition Control Module, look for thinning wires/Broken Strands or corrosion.
. On my car it drove me crazy, Car did the Opti Died shut down I replaced Opti car ran great for two days then would start run shut down No Spark. I would look around car would start run for awhile and shut down. Replaced warranty Opti, car ran great then after replacing opti 3 and I was getting car hot topping off coolant and cleaning up wire looms and car shut down. Moved loom I was working on car started. Wiggled same loom car would cut out and run.

What was found was that the wires on the ICM had many broken Strands and one of the coil Control wires was broken under the insulation and making broken contact. Patched in Replacement wires and plugs on all the effected parts. Car ran great for the rest of it's life with me till I sold it 4 years later.

I once installed a new Borg Warner ICM on my 96 and it was dead on arrival. Could be that or any one of several other issues. A friend of mine got two bad optis in a row from Autozone - most of the replacements sold these days are garbage. However, a dead opti should also mean no injector pulse. You're going to have to do some real diagnosis here.

I'm going though the same with my 92. Cranks over like crazy, but no spark. Did all the voltage/continuity tests for the coil and driver. Fuel pressure/filter, all good. Comes down to the Opti or ECM bad. Or it can be a shorted wire. I haven't tore it down yet. Good Luck

If you're getting injector pulses then I doubt that the Opti is bad, and at least part of the ECM is also working.

Thanks for the reply matt. I'm not getting any codes to give me direction. I'm going to go though the checks again using the link you provided. Back to the drawing board lol

Mine ended up being one of the wires to the ICM was open. I unravaled the electical tape wrap back a inch or so and the white signal carry wire was broke open in half. Repaired the wire and fired right up! Check your wires.
