That is exactly right. Straight down from the blue arrow you can see the black plastic vacuum line arching off to the firewall / harness. The Tee fitting has the male end and just to the left of that is the one-way vacuum check valve with the hose going left to the upper TPI plenum (vacuum source). From the bottom of the Tee that hose goes to the fuel evaporative emissions hardware and cruise control vacuum lines I believe.
Good. Since that plastic vacuum line heads through the firewall with the main harness, you'll need to take care to notice where it attaches on the cabin side and reattach there once the new harness is in.
Again, this is on an 89 model.
Regarding the timing control disconnect, I’ve got one end that looks like it goes to the right side, but I can’t remember if I hid the other side plug inside the flex conduit that goes to the left with the harness that’s routed past the wiper motor, or if it’s hidden in the one that routes around the big A/C housing. If I had to guess, I’d think it’s in the one going past the wiper motor.
ALSO, how in the heck do I get the harness retainer apart? I’ve got it loose from the firewall, but it refused to come apart. Do I need to hit it with heat to separate it?

I wouldn't worry about that presently. Even if you're anticipating a splice repair I'd think it best be done on a 'bench' out of the car. I sent you an email regarding price and moving forward if you'd like mine.
