Default Carb intake
Any of you carb guys use the original air intake for a ram air style intake?

I did not on my 84. Went with a cowl induction hood scoop. No more fuel perc problems!

The original intake provides zero "ram air" effect.

Agree with both above posts. If you were to fab something up, it would likely be a restriction for air to the carb.

This is reason enough not to put a carb on a c4. If i wanted a cowel hood i would get a nova or camero.
