Hooker longtubes (2149 or 2151) are the best for the price, TPiS charges more for basically the same thing. Lingenfelter is the same way.

are you running the air system in to the headers or did you eliminate it when you did the long tubes?

I love my TPIS silver coated headers too. First set that hasnt leaked, or blown a gasket. I had them on for 1 and half years so far. Reminds me to check the bolt tightness somettime. I have the air tubes still connected for EPA rolling dyno test and smog check here.

I have the Exotic Muscle long tubes and they are very good headers as well. They are HTS ceramic coated which seems to have a better rep than the Jet Hot coating from what I have seen and heard. They are very similar to the DRM long tubes (that are no longer offered) in that the quality is high and the fininsh is good and the flanges etc are thick. Hope that helps...... :seeya

I was also very happy with my TPiS longtube headers. I don't know about other headers, and won't criticize them, but with a lot of things you get what you pay for.

Several people with the TPIS pointed out that they have the bolt standoffs like the stock headers, so all accessories just bolt right up.

Some other headers I've heard of here don't have them and that causes some issues with accessory mounting.
