Blue streak ecm

Any of you guys use one of these ecm's? Mine is a one year ecm but blue streak claims its plug and play, no flash required.

Prom has to be transferred from original ECM to replacement. Door that covers PROM may also transfer

'85 requires a PROM and also a CALPAK

So are you guys saying its not "plug and play" like advertised? CALPAK is a bunch of resistors that put it into limp mode, right. Are they part of the board or a chip that is removable?

Depends upon what a person assumes/interprets 'plug & play' references. Your description 'is a bunch' of? Both PROM & CALPAK are removeable components. See 6E3-73 thru 77 in your FSM.
