LS conversion Electronics
I think a detailed thread would be helpful for 92-93 cars as they seem to be a challenge.
This is great information. Sounds like a nice combination. Systems like the heat, turn signals, defroster, fans, fuel pump, etc. Are they controlled with the stock ecm? What are you using for gauges? How did you address the CCM?
Hope the OP is okay with these questions I think it contributes to the thread.
Thank you,
Steve
The fans are now wired to/controlled by the Nolley. Right now,, it's just the stock fans and each is controlled with a relay from the ecu. I will change this setup to a 3 relay configuration, that puts the fans in series for low,, and parallel for high.. I run this configuration in my GMC, it works well.
The fuel pump is controlled by the holley, and I replaced all of the fuel pump wiring to 10 gauge, run directly from the alternator stud.. the connector and bulkhead wiring are also beefed up and I run a 340 lph pump.
I run the stock 1992 instrument cluster. As I mention, all the gauges work fine. It's not too hard to run all of the stock C4 senders to feed the gauges, and all of the stock LS senders to feed the Holley.
I didnt really do anything with the CCM. I bypassed a vats relay to also the starter to crank. There is a SYS warning in my LCD, which I always had from changing the radio. (I never added a resistor). If I could get a accurate list of the CAN message set from the holley, I would make a custom LCD and replace the center. But the CCM still works fine. Power windows and locks all work normal

Right now I am running the stock ECM with emulator. Forum member FrankieD is doing the tuning.
Thanks again!

Buy a completed setup from the higher end. Much less expensive than the Dominator with similar features, with a cost that comes in less than the Holley HP.
There are definitely some things I'd do different the second time around though.
