Default Digital gauges

I have an 86 convertible and my gauges dont work. They did yesterday but not today. I checked the fuses and they are ok..The gauges light up, dimmly, but do not move and sometimes they dont completely display the gauge

Please help I don't know where to go from here

Its a known problem on 84-91 vettes for there gauges to go out. To replace them it cost about $900. I think mid-america sells a rebuild kit or something like that for around $300, or you may have just a small problem, maybe someone else thats had the same problem can help you out

Most likely the switching power supply is not running. This piggybacked circuit board generates the 150 or so volts to operate the liquid crystal displays.
