..... Got the Drag Radials working on the starting line ... this was on used M/T SS Street's 295/55/15 that replaced the ET Drag slicks 28/11.50/15 (best 60' was 1.39) ... Just bought a new pair of 325/50 Street R's that I'm excited to try ... hopefully the new wheels will show up in time for Thursday Test n Tune and Saturday's race in Immokkallee ... The 1/4 ET was lifting @ the 1000' mark @ 7700 rpm ... bad boy was singing ! I'm just not geared for the quarter .....

Hey Willie , I lifted at the thousand foot marker ... that's why the disparity between ET & MPH on this ticket ... this pass was on a TnT night and I was going to hang it out all the way but was sure I'd be on the rev limiter so I let off the throttle . If I had stayed in it , it would likely have been about a 10.25-ish pass ... I'm running 4.86's for eighth mile racing ... I usually trap around 6800 rpm .

Hey Rob. I knew you lifted. I was thinking about going with the radials too but without tire growth, I'd be overrevving at the stripe. Right now I tach 6800 with the same 11.5x28 you were running. 4.33 gears.
..... My car is fairly obese ... approx. 3600# on the starting line ... still has power steering and windows but I did ditch the passenger seat and headlights ... so far the best ET is 6.468 at over 104 ... love it when the DA is under 1000' here ... new wheels are due on Friday ... had to get a little less backspace for the 325-50-15's to fit .....
..... Feb 5 2022 ... Gainesville , FL ... 56 degrees -144 Density Altitude ... into a brisk headwind ... New tires HOOK ... 1.333 60' ... 6.458 off the gas at the mph cone (unfortunately was dialed @ 6.46)... I stuck the landing pretty hard ... think I bent a wheel and maybe some other cool stuff ! .....
