[SR Intake Bolts] Anyhing to replace torx?
Seeing I am expecting my engine removal will be at the end of the compression and leak down tests, Those torx intake bolts are a nuisance. If I'm not mistaken, Scorp, Vic'89 and chucks88 bagged the torx. I just can't remember with what and I'd never done a search.

I use regular SBC hex intake manifold bolts, they are about $10 for the set.
Some of the other guys use 12 point bolts, but I prefer the hex bolts.
I can't believe that you still have the torx bolts. Get rid of them.

I used ARP hex intake bolts on mine...worked great! I recommend the hex over the 12 point so you can also get an open end wrench on them if you ever need to snug them down..thats just my preference though

Yep, still had the torx bolts. The next time the manifold comes off, regular one's will go on.
I saw Chuck C's Super Ram last week and I might add it looked cool with the hex heads.
