Some of the best $ you can spend on a build is strengthening the valvetrain. 7/16 studs, guide plates, stud girdle, etc....does make a huge difference.

It would be interesting to move the dial indicator around and see where the lift is lost; the rocker? Stud stretching? Bending? Pushrod bending?

Always an interesting topic. There are half inch studs available, and thick wall 5/16 pushrods.

comp cams knows. they test parts with a spintron
