Default clutch chattering?

I think that is the proper term for it. When I take off in first gear the car shutters. I believe this is from the flywheel being glazed but I'm not sure. The clutch was replaced about 15k miles ago and the shop machined the flywheel. They are corvette specialists and have told me they are aware that a special procedure is needed to machine it properly. I had the car at the dealer and they said there was definitely something wrong with the clutch or flywheel. I took it back where the work was originally done and they said there is nothing wrong with the car and this is normal.
Do you think this is because the work was done improperly? Could it be from improper driving style?

It shouldn't shudder when you take off in 1st. The corvette factory shop manual states that the flywheel is not servicable, you have to replace it. I looked into this last summer when I had the clutch/flywheel replaced on my '94. We have very comprehensive machine shops where I work, and I'm sure we could have designed a fixture to hold the flywheel, but resurfacing is a messy process, if debris got into the bearings/springs between the flywheel halves this could cause trouble down the line. I coughed up the $900 for the new flywheel and peace of mind.
