I thought this switch did the same thing as pulling and plugging the vacuum line at the fuel regulator. Just gives a higher fuel pressure to give better acceleration.

Re: Throttle Preformance Switch? (cookieman)
I don't like to comment on something I've never owned or tried but I heard it was a real waste of money. Thus is why I've never tried or owned one. :) I'd take it if it was free though.

Well said magoo :D All its really doing is increasing the *pump shot* that you get when you hit the gas.
I had one and it set a code 21. Returned it for another and got the same doggone code! I have seen one other Vette, a '90 I believe, that had the same code. We removed the TP switch and the code disappeared. Nothing but overpriced junk IMHO. :yesnod:

Well, perhaps! Been here since 1999. I'm the amongst the ones that keep telling you not to buy snake oil products (in the largest sense of the genre).
No harm intended, Tony. Save your $$$$$$$$$ my friend. That's what this forum is for, to learn stuff.
One good hint: If you see in on an infomertial, in MAD, Ecklers or Corvette Central; and it promises horse power, lubrication improvements or superior performance in any manner (especially if they provide personal references) it's probably schnitz.
