looks sort of funny seeing someone in the parking lot crawling under

Personally I like it.Not too soft and not too loud.I have never heard
flowmasters on an LT1,so I can't compare the two.But I believe
you will like them.

Those are the same one's that I put on my '89 a few weeks ago. I also installed a rear crossover. The resonance is only bad at about 25 mph under load. :cool:

Look s good! I just ordered mine today from Corvette Central. They'll be in in two weeks but i won't be able to drive until spring. Have to just listen too them for a couple of months. :cheers:

I am an ex-eliminator user... and they are loud for my liking.
now, my hearing is very sensitive. Always has been, but these things gave me a headache!!!
The resonance was killer...
if you are out to remove the resonance, get Corsa's.... they are the best I have experienced so far. I had stock, elims and now Corsa's.

Looks great and I must say you've chosen an awesome color vette! I might be partial though. I have had eliminators on mine for about a year now and they freakin ROCK. I have very little resonance and the sound is great. A nice rumble at idle and a very healthy growl on acceleration. Sometimes when I am cruising, I'll ease her into neutral and rev her a couple of times just to hear it. I would attribute my low level of resonance partially to the fact that I made sure that the new tips extended about 3/4 inch beyond the rear valence to help get the sound out from under me and behind me instead. I hope you enjoy your new sound. Don't rev too hard near parked cars though, you might set off sensitive car alarms. :reddevil

elims done at a local muffler shop.Cost me 80 bucks.No need to order
them.I too love the sound.Very quiet on the freeway.The only time they
are loud is around 20-25 under load.I highly recommend the eliminators.

They look way cool, I've been thinking about this myself. You wouldn't happen to have or know where I could find a sound clip of these on an LT1 with an otherwise unaltered factory exhaust system? Happy New Year!

There is a sound clip on the corvetteforum.Just do a archived search
using muffler eliminator and C4 tech\performance.You will love the sound.

Thanks, I found one, should have searched before asking. One question do you have your cats and resonator still installed? Below is the clip I found, does yours sound like Blue 92's? Sorry for all the ???, just trying to get accurate picture (or rather sound) here.

I never get tired of talking about corvette's! I still have my cats in place.
I was told by the muffler shop that without the cats the car would be
very loud,so I left mine alone.Mine does sound very similar to the sound
clip.You will want to drive your corvette even more with the eliminators-
if that's possible!

Thanks for answering the questions, I WISH I could drive mine more. My commute is about 35 miles one-way, my vette has around 40k on the clock right now and just can't bear to put into rush hour traffic here. Take care, thanks again.
