Fuel Problem
Having a problem with fuel delivery on my recently purchased '89 coupe. The fuel system does not prime when I turn the ignition switch on. It appears that their is no signal coming from the ECM to the fuel pump relay. The pump does work if I jumper the load side of the relay so I know that voltage is there and the pump will work once the relay is energized.. I did bench test the relay and it is OK. Bad ECM? Are there other inputs to the ECM that need to be satisfied (other than activating the ignition)? I am new to Corvette world so bear with me. Thanx.
